Process
Licensees are required to notify the Business License unit of any changes to their business that affects their license. Some changes may have little impact on the business license while others may require additional fees or a new application. If you have a current Santa Monica business license and any of the changes below have occurred, please complete the appropriate change of information form:
  1. Change in legal entity, (i.e. change from LLC to Corporation)
  2. Add an additional business activity
  3. Purchase of an existing business
  4. Change in location
  5. Change in ownership
  6. Missing supplemental form form application or renewals
