Central Business District Online Filing

Eligibility
Retail businesses operating in the Central Business District (click HERE to see the boundaries) are required to pay a semi-annual assessment for the general promotion of retail trade activities in the Downtown area. The assessment is based on 1/15th of 1% of taxable sales for each six-month period. Annual maximum fee is $1000.00. January to June is payable October 10th each year and July to December is payable on March 10th each year.

Most, but not all, retailers can pay the assessment online. If any of the following apply to your business, you must pay the installment by mail or in person:

(1) You have missed one or more prior installments

(2) Your business has recently relocated

(3) Your business has ceased operations

Verify the information provided on the next screen. If any of the information is incorrect or outdated, please make the necessary changes online. Please note that not all changes can be accepted via the online system as they may require additional steps to complete the update.

What you will need to pay online:

  1. Payment - All major credit cards or debit cards with the Visa or Mastercard logo or E-check (bank name, routing number, bank account) are accepted
  2. Account Number and Web PIN (shown on your installment notice )
